Sometimes, life hands you opportunities you didn't have the good sense to dream about when you were young. A couple months ago, I was contacted by a publishing house to write a DIY style/tutorial book on how to take store bought clothes and refashion them into one-of-a-kind pieces. This sort of book seemed a natural fit for Kristina J. and is really an extension of what I was already doing here on the blog.

Since then I signed a book contract and have been working every minute towards my deadline later this month...which is why I've been practically missing in action around here. I'm gonna do my best to keep up with regular posts but of course, the content may be a bit different for a few weeks since all my energy is going into tutorials for the book. A couple of the most popular DIY fashion tutorials from the blog will be included but most of them will be exclusive to the book which is slated for release this August.

I'm so, so super excited about this project and think it will be fun to bring you along on my little writing adventure!
