I'm in the midst of working toward launching an online store and for someone who has absolutely ZERO business sense, it's proving to be quite a challenge. Since I'm a goal oriented person and the only way for me to get to the end game is to set smaller, achievable goals; because if I only look at the big picture, I get over-whelmed.
Rather than being super-secretive about the process, I've decided to bring you along for each step, starting with sharing my large-frame goals that will eventually be broken down into even smaller bite-sized portions. (Because I've been thinking some of you might be trying to wrap your head around doing the same sort of thing?) This means being up-front about my decisions about things like:

1. What are the benefits of listing my brand on a host site like Etsy rather than designing an e-commerce site?
2. Will the product change seasonally or remain the same until supplies are no longer available?
3. Will I offer custom sizing or a static size chart?
4. Should I create the product myself or find a manufacturer to go wholesale?
5. What is my return policy?
6. How will I decide my product price-point?
Sound okay? Great. Here we go.
