Wearing: Brassica

Thursday, February 24, 2011

Somebody said that it couldn't be done
But she with a chuckle replied, that
Maybe it couldn't, but she would be one
Who wouldn't say so, 'til she'd tried.

So she buckled right in with a trace of a grin
On her face, if she worried, she hid it
She started to sing as she tackled the thing
That couldn't be done and she did it.

There are thousands to tell you it cannot be done
There are thousands to prophesy failure
There are thousands to point out to us one by one
The dangers that wait to assail you

But just buckle in with a bit of a grin
Then take off your coat and go to it
Just start to sing as you tackle the thing
That 'cannot be done' and you'll do it.

  1. Hi, Kristina! I LOVE your shoes and watch. And your classic, feminine style. I look forward to your blog posts everyday :) I'm new to the blogging world and recently joined the Fashion Beauty Friday Friends group. This week, bloggers are "awarding" their favorite bloggers. I awarded you the "If I Had a Hammer - Best DIY" award. I wrote a little blip about your blog and why I chose it for this award. I hope it serves as an encouragement to you!

    God Bless,
    Brooke

  3. Beautiful! It actually looks like the print echoes your golden locks m'dear!

Very pretty. I like this dress- it's a nice fabric and cut, with an interesting print and colour- I can't imagine why it was liquidated so quickly! I haven't been very adventurous with styling mine- I like the frilly brown shoes and beige cardigan as contrast points.
