how to make a daisy sweatshirt via Kristina J blog

Finally, the first project of fall! At least it's supposed to be fall...hard to tell with all the 70 degree weather floating around. This sweatshirt has been in the back of my mind for like, ever. Okay, not ever, but definitely since J.Crew premiered it last year. I guess it only seems like forever because I wanted one so bad. And boy, do good things ever come to those who wait...I love it!
But of course I love it...I don't generally waste my time on things I don't love. HA.

cute sewing projects and modest outfits

  1. this is PRECIOUS! i always loved that sweatshirt from j.crew...youre brilliant to make it yourself :D

  2. Wow this is so pretty!! I can see Anthro carrying something like this!! They should buy this from you!!

  3. Wonderful job! How do the daisies hold up after being washed?

    1. handwash! but so far so good. i treated the edges first with starch

  4. it looks so much better on you than the manequin...good job!!!!

  5. Really cute K! :) I'm curious to know how the starch holds up after washing... or do you spray them again?

  6. What other sweatshirt ideas do you have? Or comfy "mom clothes" in general? Helps us out! Ideas for stay-at-home mothers of toddlers, who need to be comfy and practical but can look chic doing it. :)

  7. Hi! I am your newest follower and was hoping that you would stop by and follow me back!!

  8. Very cool! And it must have been a lot of work to individually sew the flowers. Looks great with the white capris. And did anyone ever tell you that you look a little like Jennifer Ansiton? (I mean that as a compliment!)

  9. Wow, this is beautiful!! I would LOVE for you to link this up at my Ginger Jamboree Link Party!!

  10. Just stopping by to invite you to My Wednesday Linky party.

  12. How wonderful for the upcoming holidays!
