I was great with child when Anthropologie released their Bold Boutonniere dress, and have never actually seen the dress in person, so imitating this dress was all a huge guessing game. Since I missed out on the original, I always planned to make myself a version, but never came across the right fabric for the skirt until a couple months ago when I stumbled upon this great ticking fabric in the Home Decor section of my Jo-Ann's. Finally! A Bold Boutonniere dress all my own.
(Anthropologie Enchanting Eyes belt and Renssaleur T-straps, J.Crew ethereal cardi,
American Eagle watch, Simply Vera Vera Wang bag)
The bodice was constructed out of silk dupoini left over from some drapes I made a few years ago.
I blogged a tutorial on how to make the rose here.

I discovered your blog through this anthro lookalike dress being featured on another blog I follow and I absolutely LOVE it! Most style blogs bore me a little but your style is totally adorable, wearable and everything I would wear! Your pictures are also taken with such gorgeous backgrounds! I am now a follower!
