DIY | How To Make a Chiffon Floral Clutch

chiffon floral clutch tutorial
bag final 4

A clutch like this is frivolous and unnecessary except for the most special occasions. It calls to the princess inside...that part of me quick to go on a wild tangent over a few bits of cloth. Which is exactly why I love this sort of project. It's girly, extravagant and similar bags are well beyond my price point at my favorite stores...so what better fodder for a refashionista, huh?

I used a clutch I found at Plato's Closet for $4.

I suppose you could cut all these out by hand, but I really recommend using a cutting machine like a Sixxix BigShot, which my 7-year-old used to create all these flowers in about 10 minutes.

  6. Beautiful - you really bring a touch of art in what you do.

  24. I really love your clutch and I'd love to pin it for when I find a clutch to use as my base but for some reason when I try...all the images say can't pin this image. Just thought you might like to know since you do offer the Pin It button.
