The grosgrain ribbon can be as wide or narrow as you want. I used 2.5 inch wide ribbon for this project. A wider ribbon would make your tuxedo strip more visible from the front or back.

Kristina, I really appreciate your blog and your style. But these pencil skirts are not modest. It delineate the body and when one sits, it rises and shows her thighs.
