And the red lining...people! How a dress feels when you put it on is very important, no? If you don't think the inside matters, I'm not sure we can be friends...just kidding.
YOUR TURN
What's your most frustrating fit issue with pencil dresses?
Which aspect (arms, bust, hips, etc.) of the store-bought pencil dresses do you feel could be modified to fit better?
I love it, the dress is fabulous and the red linning beatiful
ReplyDeleteOkay, Miss Kristina, WHEN are you finally going to make your amazing dresses available for others to purchase?:)
ReplyDeleteOh my word. This coming year, I hope?? I want it so badly. Must complete my business plan.
Deletefitting over "saddle bags" is what is awkward for me... I love the look of a pencil skirt.. but not so easy to fit. LOVE the red lining! I am new to sewing... and have only lined one skirt in my life... I do love that skirt more- than anything else I've made because it is finished! (It doesn't look like a thread warzone on the inside.) lol... as always.. amazing job!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful dress! I am in love with the lining!!!

What a beautiful dress, beautifully sewn. Love that red lining; I once had a black jacket with red lining and yes, it feels like a delicious secret!
ReplyDeleteGreat dress and great fabric. It's the Christian Louboutin of dresses. I love pencil dresses.
ReplyDeleteI would wear this dress in a heartbeat!
ReplyDeleteLove this dress - it's so totally something I would wear!!
ReplyDeleteI <3 your dress! I have a tweed dress and I love the idea of dressing it up with dark tights and huh boots or higher heels! Your lining is a secret pretty too! Pinned
ReplyDeleteOk, I think this is one of my MOST FAVORITE dresses you have made! LOVE IT! You look great in this style as well, so win win!!
ReplyDeleteYou and this dress are simply stunning. I am a huge fan of pencil dresses as they are currently the only style I can wear that my boys do not think are "tents". Yeah, I'm sure you can imagine how fun that is out in public!
ReplyDeleteThis dress has to be shared! I would love it if you would stop by and link this up at my new Pinterest Linkup party!

Being a larger woman, I got a 3X (partially because I have a full chest). I had the natural fear of having gotten a dress over the internet that it would not fit perfectly or like a glove.
