If I want to design effectively, I must hone my craft daily.
If I want to increase my physical endurance, I must exercise daily.
I wouldn't consider myself to be a great cook (which I'm certainly not) if I only cooked once a week, or a great piano player if I only practiced every now and then. When Lance Armstrong was asked for the secret to being the best cyclist in the world, he replied, "You ride every day of the year, whether it's your birthday or Christmas."
If I'm not doing something daily, the chances are I'm really not doing it very well at all.
I play a lot of roles. Mother. Wife. Writer. Blogger. Friend. If a blog post falls through, it's on me. I'm the girl responsible to make sure my home runs efficiently. It's up to me make sure Studhubs and my children feel cherished, safe and loved. It's up to me to give all I can on a daily basis--because whatever I do, I want to do it well.
