Violet Gloaming and Voluminous Scarf Winner

Sunday, July 31, 2011

Good evening, mah dears! How was everyone's weekend? So sad that it's already over....I mean, what happens to the time? My son just told me that he starts school in 23 days and I had to do a mental check! Seriously? School...already? I'm so excited to announce the winner of the Voluminous Scarf--just in time for an imminent fall, apparently.
The winner is Helen of Helen's Corner Blog who, by the way,
creates the most adorable onesies for teeny-tiny babies for her Etsy store!

(Anthropologie Violet Gloaming Dress, LOFT petal cardi, Nine West Wedges, AE watch, Vera Wang bag)

Totally off the subject, but what do you all wear to weddings? I'm attending two this month and I can never decide between an ultra flouncy dress or demurely pretty one. What's your take? I'd love to get your thoughts, and in the meantime, have a fantabulous week.

Color Combinations

There are very few ladies who get dressed using only coordinating or contrasting colors. When it comes to putting things together, most of us naturally tend to use a combination of coordinating and contrasting colors, which makes each look as varied and unique as you can imagine. I've put together some looks for all sorts of situations that will hopefully spark your imagine for your own Scenes of Arles (or something similar). Have a fabulous weekend, everybody!
