I whipped up this skirt for a non-special occasion that I felt like I just had to have an orange skirt for, then wished I hadn't made it quite so fast...(no pockets, boooo...)
Oh, well, learn from the mistakes, Kristina...
So, just days from Thanksgiving!
What's everybody wearing?
Do you dress up? Go casual?
Can't wait to hear...
I'm wearing scrubs--but happy thanksgiving all you fashionistas!!
ReplyDeleteThe skirt is adorable, even without pockets!
ReplyDeleteI'm planning on wearing the Anthro Chocolate Chip Dress. It's been sitting in my closet, unworn. I have a feeling the buttons are going to pop open in the back, so I'm going to wear a nice cardigan to hide them until I can ask my mom to make some alterations.
Happy Thanksgiving!
love that skirt!!! i always skip the pockets when i am "whipping " something up quick! i always regret it too! ;)

I love this outfit! The skirt is great and I'm dying over the boots!!
ReplyDeleteI haven't decided what to wear especially since I'll probably be cooking until the last minute. It has to be something comfy because I see lots of eating ging on that day:)
Oh, Kristina, this totally reminds me that I'm supposed to order this skirt from you! (Do you think there's any more of that orange fabric at left at the store?)
ReplyDeleteI still don't know what I'm going to wear - should I take a break from the 30 for 30? Or should I stick to it and power through? Gah, can't decide...
Kristina - do you sell your designs? Because this skirt is GREAT and looks a lot like last year's Anthropologie Thousand Days skirt. I'd love to buy one in another color :)
ReplyDeleteYou are so amazing talented and beautiful!
Oh, aren't you clever Kristina! This is such a nice, flattering skirt. The vibrant hue is also great! I love your outfit - head to toe!
ReplyDeleteWe don't have thanksgiving in oz, so no holiday outfit for me. Have a fab time!

ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving!

Well... with our recent move and feeling so overwhelmed at work lately... I'm leaning towards comfort over dressy on Thanksgiving. Have a couple of days off work this week just might inspire me to get my closet organized and pull together something that makes me feel pretty! =)
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I love this outfit. I'm all about ruffles, so this tank is gorg! Great work with the skirt...pockets or not it looks great on you!
Kristina, great skirt. Would you sell that skirt in size 4, same color? I am so interested! I havent decided what I am wearing for Thanksgiving....maybe my teacups dress.
ReplyDeleteCosmopolitan Cowgirl--I am looking for similar fabric...the store I bought this from has discontinued the line...grrr...I will definitely be offering this skirt up as soon as I can find a suitable replacement, fabric wise...
ReplyDeleteYou are fantastically talented to be able to make and mod your own clothes! I kind of have a sewing machine on my Christmas list but I'm afraid to really ask for me bc if I actually get one, will I use it?!
ReplyDeleteI love love this outfit on you. It is so put together yet still has that "Kristina" whimsy!
shirt info please, please please.....i want one!!! :)
ReplyDeleteFound your blog via Weardrobe, started skimming, became intrigued, then I saw these boots. I have the same ones. You are now on my blog roll.
ReplyDeleteoh my goodness, I love this skirt!
ReplyDeleteCan I buy one from you?
