I bought these sandals forever ago from Walmart. Similar versions just keep popping up every year and this summer is no exception. It's really easy to embellish these sandals with ribbons, leather flowers and fabric. For this tutorial, I used twill tape.
Make sure you buy the twill tape, not the iron-on hem tape which is super-stiff. HA...I learned that the hard way.
I used pinking shears for this step to minimize fraying.
Those are supah cute! I love them... particularly the metallic colors...
