How To Make a Graphic Message Tote

Monday, September 30, 2013

When it comes to drool worthy products, Kate Spade never disappoints. Take her "Eat Cake For Breakfast" bag design, for example--so eye-catching. It's great to own a statement top or two, but a chic canvas message bag is the perfect accessory for carrying your yarn or library books. If you don't own a cutting machine, lots of Etsy stores offer custom stencils with messages of your own design. Grab an inexpensive canvas bag from Walmart and have fun creating a graphic message tote that says exactly what you want it to say.

You can use black paint for the words, but I chickened out and used a more controllable Sharpie to fill in both stencils.
