No one tells you when you sign a book contract that you'll be expected to become a promotions expert, a salesman, a publicist and a marketing director. It's a lot to take in...especially for a girl who prefers to stay behind the scenes, but I hope to make the promotion of my upcoming book (for which I'm contractually responsible) as organic as it can be.
The Chic Girl's Guide is a natural extension of the Kristina J. blog, so in keeping with the spirit of DIY style and fashion, I'll be hosting several giveaways this summer leading up to the release date on August 13. The book is officially available on amazon.com so look for future giveaways based on pre-order as well.
