These little Ralph Lauren dresses are adorable,
and sometimes a mom just doesn't
want to let such cuteness go,
even when her little girl has grown out of it.
My friend asked me to add some ruffles to
her daughter's dress to make it last an extra year...
What's so crazy is that Ralph Lauren
added ruffles to his originals this year,
so this tutorial keeps a dress lookin' totally legit.
You want this strip to be the exact diameter
of the bottom of the dress,
plus at least 1/4 inch for a seam.
The extra fabric at the top of the ruffles will
be used to connect it to the dress.
If you don't have this extra fabric,
the top ruffle will show less than the other two
and throw the measurements off.
