Wearing: Layers

Today, I'm happy.
No, strike that.
Today, I'm ECSTATIC!!
I went to Starbucks this morning (which I am actually addicted to and drink everyday), and ordered my first hot drink of the season--a Pumpkin Chai Latte.
That's right...it was actually FA-REEZING here this morning, but is turning out to be the perfect kind of day where the sun is bright, a strong breeze is blowing and one can walk around outside without having a heat stroke.
So, my kids and I celebrated the end of humidity's reign by piling on the layers of flannel and heading to the park...what a life I live.

(J.CREW ruffle cardigan, silver lame' belt and stripe turtleneck, American Eagle plaid shirt, Banana Republic pencil skirt, Nine West boots)

  1. You look like a catalog shot - love it, love it! Another one I'm going to copy just as soon as PA gets the fall weather memo.

  2. This outfit such a perfect, beginning of Fall look! Great job Kristina :)

  3. You look awesome in your fall layers! Love the boots. Thanks for commenting on Maggie's blog. She is an aspiring seamstress, so we love to check out your creations!

  4. p.s. where did you get your denim skirt?

  5. Peggy, my skirt was from Banana Republic.

  6. aww you make flannel so cute! I love how fitted the arms are in the flannel shirt!

  7. Oh, Kristina, I'm so jealous! I can't wait for it to get cold enough for me to layer up and wear my boots out. You look just perfect!
