If you saw my
Instagram post about my corner gallery wall, then you know I'm head-over-heels flipped about the beautiful and whimsical art offered by the artists on Etsy. I've rounded up eleven of my favorite prints for you to check out. Of course, I'll have eleven new ones next week, but you can be sure they will be sourced from these
Etsy sellers.

I also love any of the Scripture prints by
printablewisdom. I have a version of the Bible verse that says
she is clothed with strength and dignity in Makenzie's room gallery. My print is from long ago but there are hundreds on Etsy. Other art I use in my home is hand-worked pieces. My kids and I love to pass the time on long trips by doing embroidery. The best character patterns I've found are in a book titled
Little Stitches Embroidery Designs by Aneela Hoey (this book is full of modern and whimsical embroidery patterns if that's your thing...
it's definitely mine). This
patiserrie scene was super fun to complete and this
chickadee scene is whimsical embroidery at it's best.
So which ones are your favorites?
Felted Wool Mittens by

One word...adorable. Talk about a conversation starter, fashion statement and instant fave accessory.
Plus, I love the reminder of warmth you get with the flower tuft.
Well, who wouldn't give some sugar if this was the spoon they got to use? I bet even my morning cuppa joe would taste better being stirred by it. (Spoiler Alert: Expect these to show up in your stockings this year.)
Even your journal can look warm and cozy with this stripy wool cover thingy. Majorly intrigued by the flower as well...
Hand-crafted paperwork that is just so lovely to receive in the mail...perfect for every coffee lover you know.
I don't own an Iphone but if I did, this is exactly how I'd want to dress it up...
I love it for all the obvious reasons...
Hand-painted, whimsical, functional...what's not to admire?

There's nothing like getting to
decorate a little girl's room...
my husband (God bless 'im) recently pulled the carpet out of our third bedroom and laid down the white-wash wood flooring from IKEA for our daughter's new bedroom, sans crib and diaper changing table (Woo-hoo!!).

I absolutely cannot paint free-hand, but I knew I wanted some kind of cherry tree motif in the room. I ended up finding this adorable wall decal at Amazon. I painted the walls a pale gray just because I didn't want the room to be too saccharine sweet, since this also doubles as our guest room.

This lamp is dim enough to serve as a nightlight and bright enough as a second light when company comes over.

(IKEA LACK Shelves, Vases, Blomster Flowers)

This was an ugly brown light that'd been hanging in the boys' room, but I actually loved the shape, and was inspired by one I saw at Pottery Barn Kids, so I removed all the crystals and spray-painted it this lovely shade of pink.

The paper pom-poms were made from tissue paper, but I've seen them in kits at Walmart and Hobby Lobby.

The other set of floral sheets you see the pictures at the top are from KOHLS.
I wanted a fun, unique way to display all Makenzie's hair bows and I found this AMAZING Custom Made Tutu bow holder from the Add A Lil Charm Etsy store. She'll custom make whatever colors you need and it even comes with extra ribbons on the back for extra storage. The knob it's hanging on was from Hobby Lobby.
Definitely, need to give a shout out to Marie D's and luvable creations (she makes bows made to match for Gymboree) for all the cute hair things you see here. LOVE THEM...
So, I officially turn 30 this Saturday, 9/11 Day,
and just to celebrate and let you know how much I appreciate
the fact that you've even arrived at this page in the middle of a HUGE blogosphere, I've been shopping for YOU!!!
There will be two prizes.
The first is the adorable

The second prize is a package of six handmade "Thank You" cards from jessicaspaperie at Etsy. I'm super excited about these because I'm a HUGE fan of handmade products and also, these cards are actually made by my cousin, who is a genius paper crafter, and just opened her Etsy store two weeks ago. The really crazy twist is she's expecting her first baby this Saturday--MY birthday! Cool, huh?

If you'd like to participate, just leave a comment on this post and make sure to include your full name. The deadline will be at midnight this Friday the 11th.
Since I'm all about family over here,
I've decided to put each participant's name in a bowl and let my daughter draw out two names (it's really important that I have your full name in case of duplicate first names).
The first name drawn will receive the coin purse and the second will receive the cards.
The winners can then e-mail me their addresses and their prizes will be on the way!
This is just a small way for me to say thanks for all the support you've shown as I post the projects that result from the craziness bouncing around in my brain.

So, I know how acquiring the Anthropologie Two-Wheeler dress has caused some of us many a sleepless night since this dress by porridge has taken on a life of it's own...
If you're still looking, last week I saw several hanging in the Keystone Fashion Mall Anthropologie store in Indianapolis, Indiana (317)-574-0803.
Also spotted: this adorably whimsical necklace by Brittany Chavers at
Etsy.
I also spotted a two-wheeler chain necklace exactly like this in Target on an endcap near the bags and belts for ten dollars, but couldn't find it online to link to.
Happy Two-Wheeling to those of you lucky enough to own the dress!!
